What is the Acceleration Program application process?

Applications are open from September 2024 – end of February 2025.If your submit your application in advance of the deadline, we have an ongoing process, meaning our evaluators can provide feedback, giving you the opportunitiy to make application revisions, to be more eligible for selectionThe pre-selection is carried out by an external & internal jury selection, who will select the top candidates for interview rounds.If selected, you will be invited to a 40-min interview with our team who will assess if you are the right fit for the accelerator program and the community.If accepted: You will be required to sign a participation agreement, and pay a commitment deposit to reserve your place in the cohort. We also do our best to provide helpful feedback if you aren’t accepted, so you can reapply successfully the following year.

Is the application program location dependent?

Our global community and the program is fully remote & accessible from anywhere. During the program, we do however require you to travel to a European destination for our 2 day kick off meetup and for the demo day at the end of the program, so please ensure you are able to travel in the months of early June and November.

How much the Acceleration Program costs?

1000 EUR commitment deposit to take part in the program We will return the deposit back if you successfully complete the following: Attend a 2 day Kick-off meeting in person (at least 1 co-founder) Attend a 1 day Demo Day in person (at least 1 co-founder) Attend at least 75% of the program courses Complete your mentor sessions Success fee of 5% Up to 18 months after the accelerator program has ended. The 5% success fee is only applied if the startup is able to successfully raise after the program Preferential investment option for NR.VC If you have received a LOI from investors before the program starts, the success fee will not be applied to funds received from these investors The fee is capped at 30,000€ and applies to 1 round of fundraising only NOT Included – Startup team cost Travel and accommodation to the 2 x in person events in June and Nov

Be clear and concise: We need to understand who your target customer is and the transformation you are offering to serve their needs in a viable market. Highlight your cultural impact: What value does your product or service add, and how does it align with Culttech’s vision and values? Articulate your purpose: Explain why you are passionate about your startup for us to understand how determined and resilient you will be to grow your business successfully Last but not least, ensure your pitch deck is accessible! Our dedicated team evaluate each application using the following criteria: Strength of the Team Cultural Impact Industry Knowledge Innovation Level Business Model Vision for Scalability We’re not necessarily looking for teams that “have it all”. Rather, we seek Founders with the right attitude and openness to be a good fit for our community, and who show high potential to succeed in the culture and creative industries
